My thanks to the people who have mailed me contributions in recent weeks, and to the folks who have bought products from my CafePress site. Let me take this time to ask readers once again to keep spreading the word about this walk, and to read-- if you haven't done so-- the How Can I Help? section for further information on ways to keep this walk going on and going strong. Believe me, I need all the help I can get.

Kevin,
I don't even recall how I happened upon your blog but I found the "reasons" for your walk fascinating and decided to "bookmark" your blog. I read it daily and have very much enjoyed your trials and tribulations of walking across the state of WA. I hope you continue to update those of us living vicariously through your ambitious goal. What I've been a little disappointed in is the lack of "inquiry into...religious diversity." Because I'm an atheist in a country where religion plays such a critical political, social and economic role, I am fascinated by people's sense/thoughts about religion. I am also Korean American and that community in CA is very heavily Christian and felt like an outsider to that community due to being raised in a buddhist household. That also makes my curiosity even greater. So, although I know it's been very diffciult (and necessary) to sort out all the logistics of walking across the country, I would very much appreciate hearing more about the religion discovery part of your walk.
Meanwhile, you have a fan in me and I wish you all the best. Doesn't look like you'll make it down to SF so I won't be able to offer you a bedroom in my house!
Amy
