oh, please

If this pastor's wild-eyed prediction comes true, it'll only be because he's somehow in on the action.

Do any of my readers buy into this sort of thing? You can already see where my bias lies; don't be afraid to show yours.

I know of this guy... he is pretty famous in the Christian community. But I am always wary when people begin prophesying.

This caught my attention: "It will engulf the whole megaplex..."

So, it's going to be a really large cinema fire, huh? (I think he meant "megalopolis.")

Anyway, the problem with vague prophesies like this is that if anything happens in the relatively near future, he'll be able to point to it and call it a fulfillment of his prophesy.

Is it a wild-eyed prediction? I don't think he is "in on the action", but he is there - or was there, I don't know his current situation - and may be seeing some financial-trouble-based unrest.

I don't wish this on anyone, but if such a prediction is accepted, I would say the odds are more in favour of Detroit, with the unemployed auto-workers.

I do agree that it is a sort o random arrow-shooting; after it lands, you then draw the target around it. any calamity in the North-east can now be used as evidence.
