nostalgia: part 16

This was a herculean effort, but I've finally gotten the last of the Korea pics ready. What follows is pretty long. You've been warned.

thanks for putting them up. theres one thing that the empty bathroom shot reminded me of: how much i miss korean style bathrooms! i love it that you can get water everywhere. that is how it should be, dont you think? it is so much more comfy that way...

That was a good post. I'm actually feeling nostalgic, even though they're not my memories. The margherita pizza looked da bomb.

What was sued for the ham on the Hawaiian? It looks like you've gone to a whole load of trouble to make the dough for the base so I hope you haven't used spam or some other similar Korean processed crap...

Hard to believe that you managed to get to the pizza pics before me... or maybe not. I guess I'll finally have to get off my butt and post my version of events, huh?

If I may answer daeguowl's question... it would have indeed been a shame to use spam or a spam derivative on the Hawaiian. It was a Korean ham, but it was very high quality (we had to cut it off the bone) and very, very tasty. If you're willing to pay a little extra, Koreans make some very nice ham. I think this might have been Moguchon.

ZenKimchi: glad you (visually) enjoyed the margherita. Being the perfectionist I am, I was able to find numerous flaws in it. It still ended up being quite tasty, though.

Charles: I didn't think an epicurean such as yourself would have used spam, it just looks a bit like it....now that I'm reassured, I'll say how tasty it looks
