shout-out to the staff of FORKS AND KNIVES

I had a pleasant dinner at Forks and Knives, a steakhouse next to my motel. The young lady who waited on me offered very friendly service with a smile and a lot of "Awesome!"s. Her boss caught me on the way out and asked how everything was. I told him that I regretted not having found the resto sooner.

I had a Caesar salad, fried clams, French fries, and baklava-- the sort of food I missed while in Korea. The food arrived promptly and without mishaps, the Coke flowed freely, and the price was reasonable. If you're in the Mount Vernon, WA area and in the mood for down-home American fare, I recommend Forks and Knives.
