can't sleep

I keep forgetting to bring earplugs. Dad is snoring up a storm, and I can't sleep. Took a peek out the window... no snow! Not a single flake.

One site is predicting, for New York City, 1-3 inches' accumulation of snow during the afternoon, with an additional 6-10 inches tonight. The same site says that Saturday for northern Virginia will see 8-12 inches of snow during the day, plus 2-4 inches at night.
